Portugal, with its authentic and beautiful Ericeira village (World Surfing Reserve, by the way), is one of our favorite places. This location is suitable for both beginners and experienced surfers.

You will get surf lessons, video analysis for better progress, warm people, and delicious food. Read the detailed information below and join our trip. At the camp, you will meet a new surfing family that may stay your friends for life.

Surfing

Ericeira is a world-class surf village with a variety of excellent breaks.

We offer surf lessons for beginners and intermediates with certified instructors. Our video analysis will help you quickly improve your technique.

We can organize private or semi-private lessons with the best local coaches for advanced surfers. Advanced coach sessions are not included in the package.

Accommodation

We love the campsite in Ericeira. There you can get a deeper connection with nature. Waking up with birds in the morning, laughing with mates in the evening.

Camping is about 500 meters from the ocean and two steps far from the school. The secured territory has all amenities: showers, toilets, electricity, first-aid post, café, pizzeria, and mini market. If you don’t have a tent, a sleeping pad, or a sleeping bag, we can buy a set for you in Decathlon and install it by arrival.

We recommend camping, but you can choose more comfortable accommodation. So if you like to stay in a dormitory or private double/twin rooms – tell us, and we will find the best options.

Where will we live?

Ericeira is a stunning village 50 km from Lisbon with breaks suitable for beginners and advanced surfers. Skateboarders will be happy with the local concrete skate-park (swipe photos below).

Friendly people, a beautiful old town, delicious seafood in small local restaurants, and gorgeous sunset views — you’ll fall in love with that place.

 

Season and weather

Summer months are warmer, and conditions are usually beginners friendly.

The average air temperature is around 22-28 Celsius, and the water – is 16-17. It is comfortable to be in the water in a 3/2 wetsuit.

What else?

Between the surf lessons, we plan to explore Ericeira, Sintra, and Cabo da Roca. We will meet you for dinner in the local restaurant and on the best weather day, we will have a sunset BBQ on the cliffs. All those trips and meals are already included in the price.

Evenings together with a glass of wine with the sunset view, the other day's surf lecture, or a heavy party in the local street bar.
